(For ages 55 and over)

Basics of Acting, level I

This program is for new participants only, who want to explore and develop the acting process with an experienced actors and educators. Classes meet Tuesdays and Fridays, with select dates off due to construction in the theater. all of the Level one classes are scheduled from 1:30pm - 3:30pm. Price of the class includes one ticket to the current Edge Production.

Basics of Acting, level II & III

Senior Edge Advanced Level 2 and 3 - This class is a follow up for those who have participated in the Level One Senior Edge Program. Classes meet Tuesdays and Fridays. All sessions will be 10:30am - 1:00pm. Price of the class includes one ticket to the current Edge Production.

Advanced Workshops

Senior Edge Advanced One Day Workshops - Can’t wait for classes to resume? Here's an opportunity to keep your skills intact by attending a one day workshop of advanced techniques taught by Carol Bloom, Director of SeniorEdge. Three different sessions are available for $50 each, and all of them have a separate advanced topic on which to focus. Each session is from 10:30am - 1:00pm

Director of SeniorEdge

Carol Bloom has worked as an actor, director and educator in professional, university and community theatres for the past 35 years.  She served for 27 years as a full time faculty member of the Department of Theatre, Film and Television at the University of Colorado/Denver, where she remains Faculty at Large.  Recent acting credits include Honora, in The Familiars (Edge Theater), Dotty Otley, in Noises  Off, Lady Bracknell in The Importance of Being Earnest, Madame Arcati in Blithe Spirit, Felicity in The Shadow Box(Edge Theatre). She is affiliated with ArtAge, the international Senior Theatre Resource Center.
